Community Forestry

A gem with many facets...

Our annual cycle includes recruiting new planters, producing seedlings, monitoring planted trees, training field coordinators, providing education for land owners and in schools and working with our program partners to improve the quality of our services.

Community based forestry is acknowledged as one of the key strategies in promoting sustainable forest management and in reducing poverty in rural areas particularly in developing countries. When forestry is implemented in partnership with communities it can raise standards of living and contribute to positive development. The Trees4Trees™ program works with communities to develop knowledge and skills to meet the needs of people and grow trees through good forest management.

Trees4TreesTM partners with organizations and individuals who have the resources and desire to effect real change and leave a legacy. The Trees4Trees Foundation and it’s program is a ‘good news’ story.
