Community
Forestry We Do

"Give a man fish and he will eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he will eat for life..."

This old proverb captures the essence of what Trees4Trees stands for, and community-based forestry is how we bring it to life.

Our tree-planting program is a gem with many facets, which includes:

Community
consultation

Training and mentoring on
good forestry practices

Producing high-quality
seedlings

Annual Tree Planting Cycle

A systematic planting process enables us to achieve optimal trees growth.

Healthy and grown trees create impacts on the people and the environment.

The Trees4Trees planting cycle commences during the rainy season, typically from November to December, and extends through March, maximizing tree survival rates.

Our Tree-Planting Program

We don’t just plant. We grow trees with communities and involving stakeholders to support local livelihood and promote sustainable forest management.

Our annual tree-planting program includes:

Planting area identification

Social engagement

Seedlings production

Field staff training

Tree growers training and education

Seedling distribution and planting trees

Planted trees monitoring

"Community forestry is a step toward sustainable life on Earth."

Our Transparency

We plant trees directly, nurture seedlings in-house, and work closely with local farmers as our tree growing partners. All living trees and the farmers caring for them are recorded in our database and shown an a map for supporters, showcasing our transparency. Everyone who plants trees with us can visit their trees though our WIN system.

This way, you can be confident your support goes to real, healthy trees,
not just promises
